Nancy Losacker is a recipient of the South Dakota Artist’s Grant and has exhibited extensively throughout the Midwest and elsewhere, including solo shows in Wik auf Föhr, Germany; San Francisco, CA; Washington, D.C.; Grand Junction, CO and Greeneville, TN.
Since 2008, Nancy has been collaborating with South Dakota poet Norma Wilson on the Rivers, Wings & Sky project. They received a grant from the South Dakota Arts Council in 2014 and the South Dakota Humanities Council awarded them with a Media Grant for presentations on the exhibit. Rivers, Wings & Sky is now a Speaker's Bureau Program, and a book on the project was published in 2016.
Nancys works are in the permanent collections of the Washington Pavilion of Arts & Science Visual Arts Center in Sioux Falls, SD; South Dakota Art Museum in Brookings, SD; Northeastern Community College in Norfolk, NE; the Warren M. Lee Fine Arts Collection in Vermillion, SD; Minnesota West Community College in Worthington, MN; Stanford Medical Center in Vermillion, SD; Nobles County Art Center in Worthington, MN; Clay County Public Library in Vermillion, SD and in personal collections around the world.
